Solar Professionals Attends UTI Council Meeting

Solar Professionals of Illinois visits Universal Technical Institute (UTI) to collaborate. UTI's goal is to focus on occupation-specific jobs to prepare students skills required for employment. They asked us for input on the solar panel program, designing a curriculum that is extensive and includes everything the students need to know. New solar workers need to be trained on the manufacturing, OSHA safety laws, and city-specific ordinance aspects to succeed in their careers. UTI provides certification to students who complete their programs, proving that the skill/job can be completed by the individual.
