With experience or without, the solar sales career start as a Solar Consultant. You will have an instructor who will teach you everything you need to know and want to know.

Once you learn how to complete a sale on your own, you become a Solar Specialist.

You decide when to transition from Solar Consultant to Solar Specialist. You can do this after your first sale or when you are comfortable.

Paid by commission. Commission schedule can be adjusted by experience, by whether it is a loan or a lease, and by the size of the system being sold. Solar Professionals of Illinois.
